Elena designated Director of the National Observatory of Disability

13 March 2019 // IF is happy to announce the designation of Elena Zappoli, President of APEBI and IF Board member, as Director of the National Observatory of Disability which reports to ANDIS (National Agency of Disability). The Observatory has a key role in generating and sharing up-to-date information with regard to the implementation and monitoring of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Argentina.

Some of the other roles and responsibilities held by Elena: since 2012 she is the Representative and Founder of the LATAM Network on Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and Founding Member of RELAPRED, the Latin American Network of Disability Prevention.

We are very thankful for having such an active, experienced, and professional board member within IF, who raises awareness and understanding to achieve the best quality of life for people living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Thank you, Elena!
