Co-organised Equality 2015 conference: improving care and prevention for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus

Brussels 15 September 2015 // The two-day International Conference on Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, Equality, organised by the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) together with the Associazione Spina Bifida Italia (ASBI), will be held from 16 to 18 October 2015 in Solbiate Olona, Italy.

This event will bring together national and international experts such as Benjamin Warf, Pierpaolo Mastroiacovo, Domenica Taruscio, Amy McPherson, Helen Dolk, and many others, to share their knowledge and experience while working to improve the quality of life of people with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Speakers will also examine inequalities in access to and quality of healthcare, and focus on how to reduce inequalities in the area of prevention. The involvement of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus associations is key. Carmela Santuccio will represent the Italian Ministry of Health during the opening session of the conference.
