On June 1 we celebrate the International Parents Day, where we want to thank family members of persons affected by Neural Tube Defects and or Hydrocephalus, for their support!

Designated by the United Nations, the 12th of August, the world unites in celebration for the International Youth Day. It’s a day of promoting awareness and its goal is to bring attention to a specific set of cultural and legal issues that affect young people. The first International Youth Day was celebrated on August 12, 2000. This is an opportunity for young people to draw attention to youth issues around the world and is taken seriously by the IF international Youth Group SBH in addressing several issues related to their current situation.

On the International Day of Older Persons, the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) seizes the opportunity to shed light on the unique experiences of ageing with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH). IF aims to raise awareness on the barriers that older individuals with SBH may encounter and, most importantly, the urgent need to dismantle these barriers.
