IF has published a statement outlining its recommendations to the EU institutions, Member State governments and IF Member Associations for the effective implementation of the European Union Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

IF event on disability rights and sexual health

On 7th of December 2020 IF was joined by the European Disability Forum, the European Network for Independent Living and MEP Stelios Kympouropoulos for an online event on disability rights and sexual health. 

IF position paper on the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework of the European Union.

IF recently published a position paper with recommendations to ensure that the implementation of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) of the EU advances the rights of individuals with SBH within and beyond the EU. 

The Roadmap for the European Disability Rights Strategy 2021-2030 has been published.

IF will contribute to the consultation on the roadmap for the European Disability Strategy 2021-2030 and urges its European members to do the same.

Joint response to the UN Policy Brief

138 Member States and Observers published a response to the United Nations Secretary-General’s Policy Brief on “A Disability-Inclusive Response to COVID-19”. They welcome guidance from the UN and encourage cooperation, investment and direct support from all stakeholders.
