IF MEMBERS MEETING PEDIATRIC UROLOGICAL GUIDELINES SPINA BIFIDA

Background

The spina bifida and hydrocephalus associations have been presented with a unique opportunity to directly influence the improvement of the European Association of Urology Paediatric Urology Guidelines for children with urological problems. 

This survey study is part of a broader collaboration between the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) together with the European Association of Urology (EAU), ERN eUROGEN, and the ERN ITHACA.

It was a unique collaboration whereby we actively involved persons with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families to improve the existing guidelines in making them more patient centred. IF distributed this survey internationally for only a limited number of countries.

Follow-up Meeting

Following the completion of the survey, IF invites member associations along with their members to participate in a follow-up meeting to discuss the results and outcomes.

This meeting will serve to learn more about the results as well as a moment to reflect on your experiences. Furthermore, the survey results will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal and presented during the upcoming IF 30th International Conference on Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
