The General Meeting of the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) took place on May 26 2021. It was inspiring to see the many Members present from countries all over the world.

On 7th of December 2020 IF was joined by the European Disability Forum, the European Network for Independent Living and MEP Stelios Kympouropoulos for an online event on disability rights and sexual health. 

IF recently published a position paper with recommendations to ensure that the implementation of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) of the EU advances the rights of individuals with SBH within and beyond the EU. 

Participate in the 1st edition of the photo contest dedicated to the topic of human rights organized by IF and ASBI Italy. The photo contest is open to everyone and has no age limits. Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 classified.

IF will contribute to the consultation on the roadmap for the European Disability Strategy 2021-2030 and urges its European members to do the same.

IF joins MEP Katrin Langensiepen in calling for better EU legislation on anti-discrimination and a strong EU Disability Strategy post 2020.
