International Women’s Day Webinar

Every year, the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) proudly celebrates International Women’s Day (IWD) on 8 March, connecting the SBH community worldwide. This year’s theme is ‘Accelerate action’, recognising that in the pursuit of prosperous economies and a healthier planet, achieving gender equality and prioritising women’s well-being is now more critical than ever.
On this occasion, IF is organising a webinar ‘Accelerate Action’ for women with disabilities who face dual challenges related to both gender and disability. Article 6 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities acknowledges the intersectionality of discrimination faced by women and girls with disabilities.
