WSBHD21 side event “Digital Escape Room – Unlock Your Rights”

The “Digital Escape Room – Unlock Your Rights” side-event organised, by the IF International Youth Group, to celebrate with us the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day 2021.

As every year, IF is looking forward to joining its Members and the SBH community to celebrate this important day. The barriers may vary between communities and individuals but the goal of advancing the right to health for all individuals with SBH remains the same. 

For this occasion, not only a main event will be organised to celebrate this important day with having as a main theme “Unlock Your Right to Health” but also a side-event organised by IF Working Groups including the IF International Youth Group side-event that will be held on October 29th at 2PM – 3PM (CEST). 

The event is a digital escape room. Participants will have to work together to solve a series of clues. Once a group has found all of the clues it is let into the main room where the “master of the ceremony” will greet them. The first team to escape the room is the winner! 

The objective of this event is to create a festive atmosphere to celebrate WSBHD21 as well as educate youth with SBH on the UNCRPD.

When? October 29th at 2PM – 3PM (CEST)

Where? Zoom online meeting 

Participants? Reserved for individuals with SBH between 18 – 35 years old

2.10PM – 2.50PM – Participants put in breakout rooms to ‘escape from’ 

2.50PM – 3.00PM – Winners announced
