WSBHD 2019 #TheFullPicture campaign

25 October 2019 // Today is our favourite day of the year: the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day (WSBHD). The 8th edition of the WSBHD comes together with another special event: IF’s 40th anniversary.

This year’s WSBHD we wanted to look back and get some good energy from all the work done together with our members and partners so we launched our ‘‘The Full Picture’’ campaign. Some of IF’s members shared testimonies about their life with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus (SBH) and their reflections on how IF has supported them along their journey. Take a look at IF’s Facebook album to read the written testimonies and to see photos.

We also had the pleasure to interview the three IF presidents: Björn Rundström, founder of IF, Pierre Mertens and Margo Whiteford. Do not miss their videos in which they share their beginnings within the SBH community, some good memories and their wishes for the future. Check IF’s YouTube channel!

In the coming days, we will update the WSBHD website to show what other people have done for #WSBHD2019 around the world. Stay tuned!
