World Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Day Main Conference | 25 October 2025
25 October marks the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day (WSBHD) – a global call to raise awareness, foster understanding, and advocate for the rights of persons living with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH).
The 2025 theme, ‘Accelerate Action for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus’ (#Action4SBH), highlights the urgent need to advance advocacy, policy, and practice that ensure the full participation of persons with SBH in every aspect of life.
On October 25, the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day Conference will once again bring together advocates, health professionals, researchers, and policymakers from around the world.
This year’s event will explore how we – together with you – can accelerate action to close persistent gaps and strengthen the global SBH community. Participants will share inspiring stories, best practices, and innovative solutions that promote equality and empower persons with SBH to live full and independent lives.
