Join IF Webinar on Inclusive Employment on 20 October 2025

In the framework of the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Awareness Month 2025
Why Employment & Inclusion matter
Having a job is more than earning a living. It gives us a sense of independence and a chance to participate actively in society. For persons with disabilities though, including those living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, finding and keeping work can be very difficult, as barriers in accessibility, support and education often stand in the way and limit opportunities. Breaking down these barriers is crucial in ensuring equal rights so that everyone has a chance to contribute their skills and thrive in the workplace.Â
Join IF’s webinar during the WSBHD25 Awareness Month
As part of the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus awareness month, IF is hosting a webinar named ‘Inclusive Employment and Skills for Life’.Â
The webinar will bring together voices from the SBH community as well as advocates and experts working on inclusive employment policies. Together we will listen to personal stories, learn from examples of successful employment initiatives and reflect on existing barriers. The sessions will also include an interactive discussion where participants will have the opportunity to share and exchange ideas and explore practical actions towards more inclusive workplaces around the world.Â
