SWEDEN (Spin-off)

Spin-off is the name of a new association for people with Spina Bifida in Sweden, the first one of its kind. Founders of Spin-off are parents of adult sons and daughters with SB and we expect that individuals with SB will become active and take positions in it too. Focus will be on fighting the marginalisation of the SB community, we wish to spread knowledge about SB among decision makers and the general public as well as canvass for at least one specialised national clinic with a lifelong medical and psycho-social perspective on SB.
