Spina Bifida et Hydrocéphalie Sénégal is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus and their families. The organization works to promote access to healthcare, rehabilitation, education, social inclusion and the protection of rights. Through awareness campaigns, advocacy initiatives, family support programs and partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions, Spina Bifida et Hydrocéphalie Sénégal seeks to reduce stigma and improve opportunities for affected individuals.

Founded by parents and advocates with lived experience, the organization also contributes to capacity building and community engagement to ensure that no child or family faces these conditions alone. In 2026, our association became an official member of the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF SBH), strengthening its commitment to international cooperation and inclusive development.
