The Association is a nationwide organization for anyone who has spina bifida and / or hydrocephalus andother interested parties. Society purposes are:

• To exercise advisory, information and helping business to anyone who has spina bifida and / or hydrocephalus and their families;
• To spread knowledge about spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus to hospitals, schools and other institutions;
• To work for the authorities that must be informed of these diagnostic groups and their particular problems;
• To promote interest in research;
• To pursue contact with similar associations in other countries;
• To work to achieve full participation and equality in society for its members.
