The Spina Bifida Public Organisation (SBPO) was founded in 2015 by parents of children born with spina bifida to inform medical specialists, parents and the general public about the condition. The organisation aim to work for a better healthcare and social services to improve the quality of life of children with SB. The association is willing to exchange good practices with other international SBH associations.

The co-founders are Anara Battalova and Aida Kolpakova.
