Description

The Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Northern Alberta (SBHANA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus. SBHANA’s mission is to enhance quality of life through advocacy, education, and community-based programs.  By offering direct support, educational resources, and inclusive events, SBHANA empowers individuals living with these conditions and promotes greater public awareness. The organization also works to connect families with health professionals, peer networks, and accessible services, while advocating for systemic improvements in healthcare, accessibility, and social inclusion across Northern Alberta.
