Description

Celebrating the Annual World Birth Defects Day on March 3

As we approach March 3, the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) eagerly anticipates joining the global community in commemorating the 9th edition of World Birth Defects Day (WBDD). This year’s theme, “Many Birth Defects, One Voice,” underscores the power of our collective voice in raising awareness about the various challenges posed by birth defects.

Originating in 2015 dedicated to addressing birth defects, World Birth Defects Day has evolved into a powerful movement. Its overarching goal is to mobilise resources and commitment to enhance surveillance, research, prevention, and care surrounding birth defects. At the forefront of this mission is the imperative to increase visibility, disseminate knowledge on prevention, and improve the health and quality of life for those affected.

We invite you to join IF in this vital awareness campaign, using your influence not only to shed light on the broader issue of birth defects but also to spotlight Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

To facilitate your participation, we have developed a comprehensive social media toolkit. This toolkit empowers you to leverage our collective voice by sharing news, messages, and fact sheets across your social media platforms. Actively engage with your friends, colleagues, and family, encouraging them to contribute to the cause.

Join IF in amplifying awareness of birth defects on March 3! Every share represents an opportunity to effect real change! Download the toolkit here.

On March 4 we celebrate the World Birth Defects Day in a Webinar. For more information on the World Birth Defects Day Webinar on March 4. For more information, click on the poster below.
