WORLD BIRTH DEFECTS DAY 2023
Description
The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) will participate in the World Birth Defects Day (WBDD) celebration on March 3, 2023, with the theme “Many birth defects, one voice” in recognition of our combined voice in bringing attention to all birth defects.
The primary objective of World Birth Defects Day is to mobilise resources and commitment to birth defects care, prevention, and research. Emphasis should be given to raising awareness of birth defects, disseminating information on their prevention, and enhancing the health and quality of life of those who are affected.
In order to help you leverage our collective voice to reach more people through news, messages, and fact sheets, we have created a social media toolkit. By actively participating, you may help by disseminating important information to your friends, coworkers, and relatives via social media. Motivate them to raise awareness as well!
Remember to participate in the “I Care…” campaign this year!
Use the official hashtag for the day, #WorldBDDay, while posting all social media content that relates to the WBDD.
Join IF in raising awareness of birth defects on March 3!
Every share is a chance to actually change the world! Download the toolkit here.
