Each year in January IF together with its members and partners celebrate the World Folic Acid Awareness Week. IF is driven by its mission to decrease the birth prevalence of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus through primary prevention measures and to improve the quality of life for those living with these disabilities. 

Health is an enabler of inclusion and on the occasion of the 2022 Global Disability Summit IF will be hosting a side event titled: Advancing disability rights through multidisciplinary care.

Following the requests of participants during the IF Members Training 2022 which took place on June 6 2022, IF facilitates a learning from experience webinar. During this webinar, four members share their experiences on how local advocacy for primary prevention has influenced national actions.
