The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) is looking forward to celebrating together with YOU the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day (WSBHD) on October 25, 2021.

IF is excited to announce that the ‘IF Human Rights and Advocacy Training for Youth with SBH - focus on Accessibility’ will return in an online format. This year's theme will be focused on one of the main concerns of the youth community: Accessibility. 

Each year in January IF together with its members and partners celebrate the World Folic Acid Awareness Week. IF is driven by its mission to decrease the birth prevalence of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus through primary prevention measures and to improve the quality of life for those living with these disabilities. 

Health is an enabler of inclusion and on the occasion of the 2022 Global Disability Summit IF will be hosting a side event titled: Advancing disability rights through multidisciplinary care. 

The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus invites ALL Presidents of IF Member Associations from all Chapters around the world to join IF during the first Members Meeting of the year on February 18th at 4PM (CET).

IF is excited to announce that the ‘IF Webinar Learning from Experience: Strategic Advocacy for Primary Prevention’ will take place on July 15 2022. Following the requests of participants during the IF Members Training 2022 which took place on June 6 2022, IF facilitates a learning from experience webinar. During this webinar, four members share their experiences on how local advocacy for primary prevention has influenced national actions.
